Advanced Biology students in Mrs. Amspoker's class use genetic engineering to analyze whale DNA. Read more below.
There is some impressive learning going on in Elida High School!
Students in Mrs. Amspoker's Advanced Biology are using genetic engineering technology to analyze whale DNA.
They learned how to use gel electrophoresis to separate DNA fragments and then create a DNA Fingerprint to compare DNA samples between a mother, calf, and three potential fathers. Getting a great education in Elida Schools!

Top 15 in State! The Elida Varsity Overwatch 2 Team competed at the Northwest esports Regionals.
Congratulations to the Elida High School esports Team! Top 15 in the State! 
The Elida Varsity "Overwatch 2" team competed at the Northwest esports Regionals at Cedar Point Sports Center. The team broke Elida esports history by making it to the semi-final round and placing in the top 15 teams in the state
